HBR will be raffling off this beautiful quilt this Boydton Day!

The front of this queen size quilt was made by Gary Crutchfield, and the quilting was done by Colette Boring.

You can get your ticket(s) for the raffle at Town Hall, from an HBR member, at Olde Lamps and Thangs, and at The Quilter's Nook!

$1 per ticket!

Boydton Day 2011

Come to our annual Boydton Day festival Saturday, October 29, 2011!

Boydton Day will be held Saturday, October 29, 2011.

So far we have 75 street vendors who will be selling everything from specialty breads to jewelry to local honey. We will also have the pet costume contest going on again this year! It is Halloween weekend, after all!

Our parade route this year is a little different than in the past. This year, it will turn and go by the Courthouse then turn again and go down Jefferson Street to the old high school.

In the parade, you will see antique cars, fire engines, pageant queens, the best two bands around, our extra special Grand Marshal, and more!

I'll be walking around taking pictures for the website (probably in a witche's costume), so if you see me coming, grab a friend or family member and smile!
