Boydton's Birthday Party

On Friday, February 3rd. the Town will begin celebrating its 200 years.

For the week beginning January 30 (or any time before) put candles in your window. 

Then on the 3rd, ring bells at 2:00 PM.

You'll see our home-schooled children in the upstairs windows of the town hall ringing bells along with the churches and the courthouse.  Did you know the bell at the Methodist Church was brought from Randolph Macon College?

From 2:30 until 5:30 come to the Boyd Tavern for a taste of one of the twenty cakes being served. 

Happy Birthday Boydton!!!  What a great couple of centuries!
