“Big Band Swing” by the Danville Symphony Orchestra – Saturday at 8:00 PM in the old Boydton High School.  Sponsored by the HBR and the Performing Arts Committee of Boydton.  A wine and cheese reception will follow in the gallery of the HealthCare on the Square facility.  

Concert & Reception - $35.00

Adult Concert Only - $20.00

Child Under Age 12 - $10.00.

July 12th

48th Annual Horse Show sponsored by the Boydton Ruritan Club in the Boydton Town Park on Park Street. 

Gates open at 9:00 AM; Classes begin at 10:00 AM.

The longest running horse show in the region by one of the oldest Ruritan Clubs in the state.  If you love excitement and horses, you can’t miss this traditional event.

CLASSES:  Hunter, English, Western, Walking, Racking, Poles, Barrels, Costume, Games.

Brunswick Stew will be sold by the Boydton Volunteer Fire Dept.  Hot dogs, hamburgers, FF, home-made desserts and baked goodies. 

Please note:  Negative Coggins Required for all Horses on Showgrounds

THERE WILL BE NO PADDED HORSES ALLOWED IN THIS SHOW.

October 24th

Friday – Boydton Community Vespers Service in the historic Presbyterian Meeting House on Hull Street.  A moving, lovely, candlelight service ushers in the Boydton Day Celebration at 6:00 PM.

October 25th

Saturday – The 32nd Annual Boydton Day.  A long-running, regional tradition held in the restored downtown historic district of Boydton, VA.

 

From 9:00 AM to 4:00AM. 

8:00 AM - 4K run from Dr. Hundley’s Office on Madison Street

11:00 AM – Parade

12:00 Noon – Entertainment at stage area on Jefferson Street

 

This is a family affair with fabulous food and entertainment, art, crafts, antiques and flea markets, games, pony rides and a puppet show.

December 1st

Grand Illumination at 5:00 p.m. Courthouse Square. - Grand Illumination an annual event held on the 1st Monday in December ushers in Christmas in the historic county seat.
